A new blog!

Welcome to The Local Spoon! I have recently moved back to San Francisco after a six-month stint living in Beijing, China, where I kept busy with my boyfriend studying Chinese and trying amazing and delicious street foods and dumplings of all kinds. While in China we kept track of our exploits on our blog stephoandcrank.com, where I started a series of food posts called Food, Glorious Food. They quickly became my favorite to write and after moving back to the U.S. I decided to continue my food writings and started thelocalspoon.com, where I will continue to post on the many wanderings of my spoon.
